Thank you. Particularly in this template I wanted to focus on the effective use of typography as well as take a simplistic approach to its fullest extent. If you think so as well, then I'm happy. ;)

lol great stuff
The composition of everything seems ok, but i have one problem and that for the text under the titles 'Web' 'Identity' 'print' and 'John Mayfield' look like google adverisements. Which makes the site look less smoother than it can be. Id change the font to a smoother font e.g Arial or something along the lines of that. :) Good job tho kiu

Good point. I am planning to change the quote text a little bit and modify it as I go along. I'll try a few variations when I'm in the coding process.
Overall, very good observation, and thank you for that.

I think it's a little bright, but it could be my monitor.
I like the design though, really effective!!

Yep, I think it might be your monitor. Plus with the contrast of this forum makes it incredible. Also, I checked it on 3 computers to see the difference, and my screen's the lightest.

teh serif fonts mainly look not bad, but on buttons they don't go, i'd take a sans-serif font there ;)
rest looks nice, i dont like the cut off image above teh slogan though, it is too cut off looking =/ it's just suddenly ends in blank
text is waay too huge.. and the serif just, dont belong on sites like that imho..
and somehow, i just dont like it.. looks like one of those typo domain squatters imho..
