It's an MMORPG, kinda like WoW, but with Sprite graphics, a different storyline and different characters

i loved this game and i had a lvl 54 barbarian when i finnished it on easy
PS its not an mmorpg its just an rpg but u can play it online :P

Its a multi media online role playing game = MMORPG

Multi media = the classification of amount of players, in this case its multi.

Online = You can play it online.

Role playing Game = It plays a role, being you have to kill the Devil.

So, Diablo II = MMORPG

Along with other Blizzard Entertainment games, such as WoW, WCIII, and SC
