Tech-GFX Debate Tournament?!

Hey people!

How about some good debates?? I need at least 8 people to sign up for this tournament!

What are the prices? For now 100 creds for 1st place, 50 for 2nd and 25 for 3rd!

Anyone entering will enter for free. Credit donations are always welcome!

Some information on the tournament:



People will sign up for the tournament. They get placed in different groups. Dependent on how many people sign in there will be groups of 1 or 2 persons. There are several rounds (how many is also dependable on how many signups there are).

Every round 2 groups will debate, the statement will be thought up by the topic starter/tournament manager.

Topics in the debates will be every day things and recent subjects.

There are certain rules in the debate topics: Only the 2 groups that were assigned to a topic may post there.
A debate has to end somewhere. Normally we would work with time. On a forum this wouldn't be fair, so we will work with number of posts. Every group has a maximum of 15 posts per debate. After 15 posts from both sides a winner will be chosen.
If, after 7 days, one or both groups don't have 15 posts yet, the topic will be closed for judging.
(Further rules might be added)


The winning group will go to the next round.



People can sign up in this thread if they want. I would love to be the tournament 'manager' I will need some help of the moderators and admins to keep the debate topics clean though.

cool idea, but what if both groups have the same idea on the subject, or what if your partner (from your group) has another idea than you?

Well, since the topics wont be about religion or stuff like that, that wont be a problem. i can give you some examples of topics:

- Softdrugs should be legalized.
- Junk food should be banned from school canteens.
- Television is a bad influence.
