World ending in 2012?

The Mayans (I think) predicted the end of the world to be in 2012, just because the planets are lining up. Thoughts?

I personally think it's stupid, things have lined up before. For eclipses, Spring tides, and other stuff. Why would it be any different?

The planets line up like that every some thousand years... I guess it could be true... But well, let's wait and see... In the next 100 years our earth might be destroyed about 4 times... :P

1. 2012 Mayans, planets lining up etc...
2. 2030 Meteorite, big chunk of rock. 1 on 30.000 chance of hitting the earth (which is a very big chance for a meteorite).
3. 2050 Super Volcano, massive eruption will have the same effect as a meteorite.
4. 2060 Apocalypse, jezus will come to earth and save all believers that are still left at that time... :P All none believers will go to hell! HELL I TELL YOU!

I don't think any of this will actually happen. But it COULD be of course :P

First, I said year XXXX, which could be any time. Second, just because Bush isn't president doesn't mean he won't still be a bitch. We can still blame him you know! Just like how a lot of people blame Jews for their problems (i.e. "I got jewed over") (I think this is morally wrong by the way....) even though they had nothing to do with it. Seeing as Bush isn't a race, it is not racist or anything and therefore could be morally correct.
