Web design contest, either monthly or every other week. We have a decent web design section already so I think we should do contests. I've only been to one other GFX forum that had one of these and it was awesome. :D :banana:

About the contest. It could work... But I'd rather say monthly than every other week...

uhm, i don't know if you know

but actually we're aiming at getting more webdesigners, 3D artists, CG artists and that kind of stuff
webdesign IS graphics design by the way

Web-Design far from lacks the fundamentals Silence.... By definition, Graphic Design is visually presenting information or ideas. In my opinion the creation of website templates is much more Graphic Design than making signatures and tags, and it also only includes the visual portion of creating a web site, any code is web-development or just coding, neither of which is graphic design.

I believe we should take a vote among members of the forum, figure out if there would be enough interest, and if there is hold a monthly (bi-monthly is to short a time) contest, set up for three weeks time to submit entries, and a week of voting. I think there would be enough interest in this that it could run successfully. If we are aiming at gathering more 3D artists and web-designers, I believe it would help to have a monthly contest for each of those.

anywayz, i like the idea, and i believe i would parcitpate quite often. I believe it should be per month, not per week. Templates are tough to make quickly imo. Well for me anwyayzz. Good idea Fuze

Web Design is more popular, but, I fully agree with this.

Anyways, It's an awesome idea, I mean, I'd enter if you had it.
But, the amount of activity atm is low. It will probably fail.
