Well this year shall be very interesting for gamers of all types.
March is due to release some really good games :).
One im looking foward to is Assassins Creed. Seen a live demo of this on the xbox360 and it looks sweet.
There are many great titles im looking forward to getting :).
For pc im looking forward to a few. The above one mainly but also
Battlestations: Midway due to release January 30, 2007
Now Battlestations: Midway. I've heard a few gamers say they are looking foward to this one ^^.
(http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/pc/midway/) IGN reveiw.
Another game which I've had the chance to play the Beta release of is
War Rock.
This game is somewhat like BF2 but there are 3 different battle types. Close Quater Battle, Urban Ops and Battle Group.
I played shortley on the CQB game and I personaly didn't like that one to much. It's quite fast paced.
It's a little like counter-strike where one team are defending places the other team have to bomb. Now I didn't totaly work that one out so not 100% sure on it :P.
Urban Ops I have not had a chance to try out.
But as for Battle Group. This is like BF2 games. It has a more arcadey feel to it in my opinion. I enjoyed it, although I don't see this game going as far as BF2 has in gaming.
Now I watched a trialer and in game video of UFO:Afterlight, and I couldn't help but laugh and get interested in it.
THe only way I can describe this game is a mix of Command & Conquer type battles with less army and much different enemy, a bit of a FF battle type feel to it at sometimes and as for the graphics when in it..well best described as The Simpsons :P.
This game however does appeal to me. To me it seems like quite a laugh but I can also see it being such a slow paced game I would bore of it after not long. Check it out (http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/pc/ufo-afterlight/)
War Front: Turning Point February 19, 2007
Only a few words can be said about this game...buy it!.
WW2 meet new age weapons. Classic enemies, The Nazi's V Allied Forces (USA/GB).
Once again teh USA has been called in to save one of its oldest allies from the Germans..once again? :).
This is a hell of a game from what I have seen and it is deffinatly my game to buy in Feb. Now this game has everything I can think of. ww2 vehicles/weapons/uniforms, with added Helicopter APC's, Germans with Fast jet packs, and what I can only call massive space ships lol. I can't think of hwo to explain this game better so watch the trialers.. (http://uk.media.pc.gamespy.com/media/743/743158/vids_1.html)
Now I wont bore you with anymore just check out this think and sort out what platform you want to look at ^^. (http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/index/release.html?constraint.year.game.release_date=200 7&constraint.return_all=is_true)
