it looks very realistic and i guess that's what you aimed for
the mental ray ones look a bit less realistic, because it was an earlier version?
Thank you all!

I'm very lazy... and my PC doesn't help too. Many projects i had, i had to stop them because i couldn't continued due to my PC. I cant even work properly in z-brush.
But i think i started working very soon. About six months after i started playing with Max. But it was realy a blind shot, and i wasn't prepared for that at the time. I have never had done an interior image... But the company was realy searching for someone in 3D and was hard to find someone in my town. So we giv it a try. :)
I had only characters on my folio. :)
here:
Im not going to create a new thread for these. So i'll show it here
This was what a had at the time. This was for a contest. We had to create a.. (moscote?) i dont know how you call it... a doll that represents a company.
The company was OCEANARIO DE LISBOA - a huge fish tank! :P
I had any experience with the software and it took me more than a month to finish it. I remember it was a real chalenge....

I didnt even know the meaning of alpha map, hehhe
And yes... my car was one of the first thing i have started to create on 3ds max...
When i got my hand on the file to inprove the work, i put my hands on my head... the mesh was full with problems! I almost had to make it from 0 again!

candy man, thanks! Well... you have a huge source of Vray materials in www.vray-materials.de
But they will only work if you have the plug-in VRAY. Bu they are not only there to use, but they are good to learn about doing your owne materials. Wish in a final project, you will be much more happy with your self if you made all your materials! :)
