If something kills us it will be some meteor or weather conditions in my opinion.
We wont just disapper somehow right?
Oh yea and there will be Will Smith and his dog with some zombies! lol
Can you say virus?
This is not about what kills us, but about what happens to what we leave behind. Now just watch it damnit! :P

Watched a good 50 minutes, but yeah, it bases of the role that humans mysteriously disappear, but is suppose to give the effects of how earth would reclaim itself if humans were to disappear.
Isn't anything I really didn't know, and I don't think it was history channels best story :(

Well, its just a story of how long it takes for our things to degrade and for me, who is aiming for the entertainment industry/SFX, it's nice to have a set scientifical span for decay..
Take for example "I am legend", I for one noticed that everything was pristine in the apartments he pillaged. No rot, no dust, no broken windows or pidgeon poo for that matter. But times square was overgrown with grass.

The movie was freakin awesome!
I love this quote from it:
"Even with our modern technologies, we can't even make something that last"
Egyptians and Romans made something that lasts, and will last, and they didn't need no technologies, and us... what will our world do? if you watched it to the end, Times square might look like a mountain and a nice river 10,000 years after we are gone, no sign that there ever was humans there

in my personal disgretion, i believe that, that day will never come. I believe that human life will continue to exist until the sun runs out of hydrogen to fuel its energy and will turn into a supernova obliterating all near by planets including us, and that means that there will be NO earth for there to be no human life on. thats my personal view on things. and if ur interested.. i think its about.. 5-ISH million years till its predicted the sun will explode. But yeh i reckon humans will last that long, unless of course global warming causes us to lose our precious ozone layer from which tragic things shall happen upon things in the movie.. the day after tommorow? anyway YEHH i reckon that day will never come. and i havnt made that up btw lol :)
Thanks Dan

tooo longgg. lOL
ill find time..
I wont watch but based on the title if there are no humans anymore some other being will gain power and I believe the cycle will repeat itself.
If you wont watch, what is the point of a reply?
No, I meant I didn't watch it then.

The sun exploding is the least of our worries. Having so much time, im pretty sure we would of evolved into some disgusting mutants and travelled to galaxies billions and billions of light years away from us.
We will probably die before then lol. I do'nt think we will die of global warming. Global warming is small compared to the potential of havoc we can cause. Perhaps a virus or our own machinery will kill us, but not now, but perhaps later in the future. But at the end of the day, we are all insignificant. MEaniningless to anything or anyone outside our small radius.
But by then, we may of been inhabiting other worlds, and well it would be tough to kill all of us then.
And didn't they have like a small family living underground somewhere in europe in some giant warehouse, with all of the worlds most important natural resources or items? So that in a unexpected disaster wiping us all out, that that family could atleast survive, or atleast preserve all our remaining shit for the new species that would understand stuff??
Everything is defaultly meaningless.. everything..
Meaning is something you create..
