The first two sentences of the poem have been stuck in my head for a for a few weeks. During latin(where I come up with 90% of everything) class I suddenly got some inspiration. Don't think I quite nailed it though, depends if you get the message... meh.

Confession to a flowerx
I took a man’s life today.
I was in love with his girlfriend.
Oh Roses, I took a man’s life today.
A grave riddled with flowers and pair of bloody gloves
The gaping hole drowned him in skulls and bones of numerous predecessors.
Roses, did you hear? Jealousy is a hunter, love is a deer.
It has weapons in his hands and murder on his cape.
Oh, when the evening sun is red its bloodlust awakes.
Roses, I’ll take you on an adventure trough black, starless nights.
We’ll follow the trail of bones and broken hearts.
As shattered souls and petrified tears crunch beneath our march.
I’ll take you back to the killer’s home, a wooden hut where he feasts alone.
Where there’s a king with virgins eyes in his crown.
The walls filled with foetuses dressed in crystal wedding gowns.
I took a man’s life today.
I was in love with his girlfriend.
I took a man’s life today
Yet the grave contained no carcass, as result of beblooded knives.
This starless night there laid a mirror that reflected when the moon shines.
10 feat beneath, a reflection in which I recognise a red sea
Under the red evening sun the victim was the most familiar I’ve ever seen.

Plant your seeds in the dream bubble
As soon as you harvest, I’ll promise you fruits
Labour and slavery will be on my mind.

For in return I dreamed of a safer home

But when it’s time to return the favour
