Rule of Thirds

I didn't see a post solely for explaining the Rule of Thirds here, so I figured I'd post this for you guys
It is for photography, but can be applied to signatures and other forms of artwork as well.

very nice tutorial for beginners!
as you can clearly see this on the photographs without it sometimes it would have been a very weird shot.

I never noticed the Rule in action before, but as I see everyone's works of art, it's true! The Rule of Thirds will help me out tenfold, thanks a lot!
