Here's a poem I whipped up =]

The Music in a Girl

The girl laughed,
A silhouette of unwritten melodies,
Like the love found in every heart,
Unveiled but untouched.

She twirled in harmony,
Hop scotching in a rhythmic beat,
Spinning, swerving, splattering her laughter onto me.
It seemed oh so real.

The girl continued to laugh,
Smiling, that widened across her naive face.
Hand in hand,
She slithered, binding me with affection.

The halo that hung loose on her head brightened,
And solid wings grew a part of her.
She blew me a kiss,
A very young kiss that I missed,
Dear Daughter,
Waving through the wind’s melodic echo until it reached my cheek.
