Otherguy, i think you have more polys where you dont need them, and few polys where you should have more, for exemple the buttons area. Can you post the wire without any smooth?
what is the model of that mp3 player, so i can check some photo references?

yeah...
first hereis the actual model http://linuxbrit.co.uk/gadgets/lg/muvo.jpg http://www.chip.de/ii/44268876_0cc8f579b4.jpg .. but i havent done it fully after the references. I made some places simpler so it isnt really the real model, its just something similar to it.
On the usb-part (the black part) i used mssmooth with smoothing materials or so.... i think thats the reason i've got so many polygons in some places.
Otherwise i've got real problems with the smoothing of edges.. i mean, isnt there another way to smooth edges only a little little bit without having to make lines (cuts whatever) really near them?
oh yeah and the buttons are (stupidly) made with an extrude inwards (- something) and then extrude upwards, it wasnt neceserry but whatever =/
I made mistakes^^ and im happy i made them, cause i've got plenty of time to not make them in the future xD
here are some pics

Its much easyer if you make the buttons separated from the body. You can work much better that way.
