actually a lot of that info is false since kennedy voted for the civil rights act of 1957 and truman was a big civil rights advocate and pushed for black equality. And i love how all the democrats this source says that opposed black equality are all southern people, whom in that time you could find as many republicans in the south that opposed black equality also so this really shows us nothing at all and untiled learn how to spell and what you are talking about before you start talking

wat
if he had so much compassion, he would have passed a civil rights act like his successor LBJ. I don't want to hear any bull shit about how he couldn't because he needed southern white support, if it was true,, LBJ wouldn't have been able to pass it

I never said that and if you did actuall research you would find out that Kennedy was the one who started the bill and was assasinated while doing so and LBJ pushed in through congress in memory of JFK so ya do some research before you talk

you do realize that this blog is written by some anti-democrat who isn't afraid to twist the facts a bit or even make up entire lies just to get his message trough.
propaganda my friends, it's a cold blooded weapon.
i think some people just can't debate without getting mad like bbob or talking stupid shit when they know nothing(friendlyracist)[/b]
I very seldomly get angry when arguing, but when I think something is stupid, I say so.
This didn't frustrate me the least bit, I actually laughed at the stupidity.
What past democrats did has nothing to do with the bloody present, no matter how you twist it. Judging politicians as if they were their predecessors is immensively stupid.
But yeah, I agree, obama is totally gonna put slavery back in to business and take away voting rights for blacks and what not, haha. I know that is an exaggeration of what you implied all democrats were involved in, but please, see the idiocy and stop holding on to it.
There is plenty of things on his to-do list that makes me disgust him. Just because he seems nice and is black dosen't mean he is a good politician. How come america picks the man/woman to run the country, after whom they want to run the country?

that story is written by a bunch of Republicans, i think. there will be some sort of truth in it, but not all of it. they say the Republicans such good people, i don't believe that,, that they did everything to abolish Slavery (that's a good thing though, but is that site trustworthy?). the things that are written are pretty old though 50/60 years ago. Obama isn't like that i think.
my opinion

Because it isn't about being a good politician. Look at all the people who were running for president. It really was the muppet show all over again.
And they chose kermit because he's a person who has gained alot of symphaty among the viewers and they chose one of those old men on the balcony because he adds somekind of value to the show.
The power of the president is overrated imo. President serves as a public figure who does the PR for America. Don't think invading Iraq was really one of bush's ideas.
The president is just the scapegoat of the American government.
oh btw: This is jsut what I think. Not based on facts or anything.
oh btw2: Bbob if you think you know everything better then why don't you go do something more useful with your life. You're obviousely a fuckin genius >_>
I dont know anything, lol

bbob the person who thinks they know doesnt know. It is the person who thinks they dont know that has the mind to learn. So even know you may know a lot you cant learn more unless you empty your mind which you dont do. So i dont think you have that much knowledge either
Stop thinking that I think I know everything! What have made you think that?
I am perfectly aware that I do not know very much, that is what drives my curiosity to learn more..
As for the temporary emptying of the mind, that has nothing to do with knowledge. Memories of things are subconsious, and if your subconsious is totally empty, I would REALLY like to see your MRI and MRS scans..

I thought that is was pretty obvious that i meant that figurativly not literaly. The emtying of the mind is just a figure of speech that means that you should go into somewhere with a open mind and thinking you know everything represents a narrow-minded person like yourself. DONT take everything so literaly
I don't know what I have done to make you dislike me, I am curious as to what it is though.. Please elborate on it? I do no consider myself narrow-minded, but I am aware that personal perception can deviate a lot from reality, so please do enlighten me.
And I just realized that a correction is in place in a past post on this page, a brainfart on my part.
it should have said: "How come america picks the man/woman to run the country, after whom they want to have a beer with?" and not the posted, which makes no sense at all..

And who is it that they blame for all the issues? The figurehead. I'm glad someone can see that it's not necessarily all Bush doing this. It's the government in general, not just the president (though Bush does have a hand in it).
It's worth stating that I'm a down to the core republican. I'm also a Bush supporter. And yet I still don't agree with SOME things Bush has done. (I disagree more with our current Generals).

youre just a dick to someone who has something to say and you dont like what they say. Like you told sokz to grow the fuck up just for posting this topic, he can believe what he wants to why do you really care at all?
The notion that the first possible black president of the US is part of a anti-black rights conspiracy, is pretty fucking stupid.
I agree though, people can believe what they want to, but some things are just plain stupid, not that they are stupid. For example, a guy that I know in real life, was certain that 9/11 was a tesla coil experiment of the US government, that they sent a lightning bolt into the two towers, and masked it with the plane flying in. I respect the guy, but I laughed very hard, and told him how stupid the notion was.

You're 100% correct about the first black president (Honestly, what chance does McCain have? Just by being Black Obama carries enough vote to get into to White House, not to mention if he adopts a few of Clinton's policies...)
