Tutorial Rip Case

Rehat has ripped the final product of a tutorial on creating an Eclipse Effect.

Now, I know you might say he could have followed the tutorial, but when I read through the tutorial, it requires brushing that to be done on the part of the artist.

This isn't up to me, so I'll leave it up to higher staff, but I think unless a really good excuse is given, this is a pretty clear rip.


Just be original Rehat, I mean just follow the tutorial or try and come up with something yourself. I learned this lesson a long, long time ago, and its a lot more rewarding and fun to use 100% your own stuff, thats why I wanted to post this, so you can be your own artist, not just copy other's work.

Well. That makes me ask this:

Is it true, that everything is the same, exept for the text?
If so, it is a rip.

Because you can't just follow the tutorial perfect (you can follow it good and have almost the same outcome) because if you look at the numbers in the tutorial you have here when the coloring starts, I think you must have copied and pasted it into your document and lower the opacity and then colored it, but in my eyes that's more than an idea rip.

Tutorials are good if you follow some steps and learn new techniques, atleast tell you've used them.

What is smoke? The forum description of what RIP is like says that it consists partly in smoke, but I dont know what that means.
