Any thing with a good beat to the music gets me going and i just enjoy listening to this while making sigs.
Not too sure if it affects my work, but i know it makes me feel good about what i have made :D

Depends, If its a artist (Like Gorillaz or Moby) then I listen to there music while I make a tag.
(Basicly If I'm making a tag with a artist in it, I try to listen to there music while making it).

used to just be whatever was going on shuffle then i started picking out longer songs like opeth/dream theater now i find its easiest with instrumental pieces so john petrucci solo stuff and explosions in the sky, kinda relaxed no words stuff. it doesnt inspire me as such but it just helps me think and calm and stuff so yeah
i do like listening to a bands stuff if im using an image of them or one of them :P so stone sour for a picture of corey or whatever

Yea i agree with sai there.. but techno makes me want to get stuck into the sig and see how good i can make it.

Beatles.. listen to them sometimes... John Lennon .. listen to some of his songs.

Sometimes i listen to really modern kinda songs like.. lilly allen and all that top of the charts stuff.. just because it helps me make .. umm.. what can i clal them .. * Up-To-Date* :s sigs lol

K well when im creating graphics I listen to ambient music, it relaxes me while I am working on something new and intense. also tech sometimes but mostly relaxsation/ambient music
