Future careers & Plans

Im just wondering what career some of you Tech-Gfx members want to take in the future.
Here is what I wanna do and planning on doing:

I wanna become a Interactive Media Designer in the field of Art design ofcourse. Photoshop has inspired me to become IMD and master it. College i'll be going to is either the Art institute of technology or Devry for their programs in IMD. Ill be graduating in 2-3 years and I have already been applying for colleges and for schollarships to ofcourse get that free money lol. Well anyways that's what im going to be for my future. What will you guys be in yours?

i am aspiring to become a photographer of some sort. not sure what ill do in that feild yet but you know :/

if i was good enough i would like to have some career with graphics and but i doubt ill ever become good enough :(

Want to get a job at IT field

would like something programming or gfx based
graphic design freelancer (creating web layouts and logo's is most likely), or maybe writing progs (i even still have to learn the very basics of that :lol: )

at least something in IT field offcourse

i would love to work as an IT technician...

all the ones at my school just sit there playing, quake, bf2, or dawn of war, whilst eating kettle chips...

they use the damn network to do LANs and play online and whore our bandwidth... ><

I'm afraid I'll get sick of GFX if I do it as a career.

I'll probably minor in history, major in law, and then get into politics.

I've been in the US Army for 5 yrs now. I'm a Sgt. & I'm an inspector/
mechanic for the baddest helicopter in the world! AH-64 Apache! I plan
on completing my 2nd contract in the military & when I get out,I'll take
a job working on civilian Helicopters & I want to take up some web design
classes.

I went to Iraq for a year & it was the scariest experience of my life! I
never wanna go back there again! That's why I choose to end my military
career after my time is up.

scary thing is, you got the skill and style to do advertising, that strawberry and bottle piece you did was awesome
anyway me, ehmm i ahve no idea im into this graphics stuff, and i did it in high school and was going to in college but like i think fabol said i'd get sick of it and would take the fun out of it, thats the same reason im not doing a music tech course, something in IT or maybe a long distance driver :P haha

I plan to do something graphics based.
Looking at SCAD [Savannah School Of Art & Design].
Full Sail in Florida.
Possibly the art schools in New York, Philadelphia.
Graphics are fun to do and i like being portayed as an artist.
Not exactly sure what type of graphics but probably freelance, media production/advertising or something along those lines.

actually now iam working as a graphics designer ... i used to work for a company as an IT consultant and as a computer techniction but as i see my future from here i am studying Petroleum Administrative studies ... which is business administration for the oil and energy industries ... so i am going to be stuck either in a 1x1 office doing some boring paper work and earning +500000 or on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean drinking rum and hoping to die :D

graphics design is kind of hit or miss in terms of sucess so money might be a problem. i plan on getting a degree and masters in architecture and working as a architect. $$ :yes:
