I would suggest Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended. You can download a free 30 day trial on there website. www.adobe.com

Why wouldnt you go for the latest one?
It obviously is the most accurate with most current and up-to date tools.
Ortherwise they would be no point bringing out another product if it had worse tools
