Can we use anime persons with headphones or any musical instrument for this SOTW for example or just bands in real life?

I'm 99.999% sure you can use musical instruments but dunno about the anime headphones.
What i was thinking was headphones alone.
No, i'm sure anyone wearing a pair of headphones should work... depending on what you do with the rest of the sig. The focus has to be music, whether its RL or artwork it shouldn't matter

Hit the nail on the head. As long as there is some part of the sig that has to do with music of any sort go for it.

I'll second that request if you wouldn't mind. Your entry was damn good! And I would love to see how you put that all together. I especially liked your use of pen tool mixed with the brushes.

Had hoped to enter this week, but I've come down with a cold and am not sure whether I will manage to work up enough energy to open photoshop in time to meet the deadline. Will try though. Maybe

No Im out of town until later tonight and all of next week so this was my solution for me not being at my computer all of next week...

Oh yeah, i've added an entry. Its not my best work but it'll do till I have time to make something better

Next weeks will be similar to this weeks in length, it will start on this wednesday evening and last until two weeks from yesterday. I will be home on that saturday, and will just end the contest on sunday. From then on it will be back to normal.

ok i might be wrong now...but since the theme is music...shouldn't singers signatures be banned(as in REAL PEOPLE)...i dont know tech gfx politiques but they ussually ban real people sigs form music SOTW on other forums

I don't understand? You mean putting a singer in as the render? I see nothing wrong with that, that's what it says in the description of the topic. Maybe in the future if we have this as a theme again we will be more specific...

yeah thats what i meant....for example on sigressources we could only use things such as musical notes,instruments or things like headphones and speakers.

Thats a good idea, maybe next time we will do it like that. For now we can have singers in it...
To be honest, I dont see what the issue is. I mean, if you want to make a theme that is musical instruments/equipment, then fine... but singers and bands are just as much apart of "music" as instruments and notes. Singers create music therefore it fits the the theme. It's the first I've heard of it not being allowed on a forum (not saying it isnt on other forums, just that none of the forums I've been on have done that).
Just to clarify... in that case, would a person with a musical instrument not be allowed either. That would be a little ridiculous in my view. And a person who uses an instrument is not that much different to a person who uses their voice as an instrument... As I said, if the theme were different but for "music"...??? Sorry, this rule just doesnt make much sense to me so I had to throw in my two cents
