well playstaion 3 would be only because microsoft released xbox 360 i think it was 12 months ahead of schedule...they released to early also they made to many so there always in shops but playstation 3 has much much more things than 360 i could name them but i would need an entire forum to do it also i dislike the control of ps3 i dont no bout u guys but it looks gay and harder to use :D

the thing is sony are shit. the ps2 had like 4 good games. none of which were from sony. the ps2 broke all the time, it was EVEN on Crimewatch Uk, that they were all breaking. so yeh the ps3 will have better graphics than the 360 but almost 1 1/2 years later and at least ?250 more. plus ony make a shit profit from that price, and that is for the basic package. HALO 3 and HALO WARS will own. sony has no (bar ff) games that are any good, dont say gta cause their on xbox too. so yeh, the 360 has better 3rd party support than sony meaning its games should be better. oh, and the Wii owns all :P cause of Super Smash Bros Brawl. all said and dun >_<

Oh and which retard designs their controls, the xbox/360/gamecube layout is much more better and simpler to use, not having the two joysticks stupidly put where they are, and HELLO how the hell is that conrol compfortable. OH and ?500 at least, that knocks out nearly thier entire UK/Europe market; Chavs, low income, just able to afford a ps2, killed by the price of the psp, wiped clean by the ps3,. I've juste got a 360 with Gears of War and it's awsome.

I tried the wii and it's for 4 years old child but still fun.

Sony have an hardtime to product these PS3 and there is no game that is beating 360's Gears of War... for the moment.

And yea dif.ference gears of war is awesome but xbox 360 already has lots of games, while ps3 has just been released and thus still only has a few games, but ps3 will get some good games too later on

See well I think the Ps3 is crap becuase they tried the steal the Wii's original motion gaming system.. And the controls that the Ps3 have right now are not the current ones. Search on youtube or google the Ps3's gaming controler is just like the PS2 but its silver and very shiny.. Like metal for instance.. And the 360.. Their just lucky Microsoft has their asses.. Wii is the best and will always be the best! I mean you can get an original kick ass system for just $250! And then the PS3 is like $600! Omg... And then the 360.. Wow.. These two systems are wayyy to expensive.. I can have a years worth of food if I didn't buy these two systems.. So thats it.

There isnt any motion controll in the ps3, it is only for small things like if an enemy graps on to you, you shake the controller to get them off. You can use it for precise aiming on RFOM, trust me, it isnt anything like the Wii, i have played both.

i am not a sony fanboy btw, i just think that the ps3 beats all other consoles in quality and fun. Don't say i havent played them, i have played all 3, alot, I have an american ps3 cos my dads friend works in bestbuy or walmart, something like that, he got 2 free ps3s and sent one to me. I dont play it much cos im addicted to WoW atm :P I have played the Wii, because they have a test-pod in my local game shop, they let me in to play it quite alot. And my brother-in-law has a 360, and he has had 5 of them, all faulty, the one he has now is past the warrenty and he gets 3 red lights so hes going to sell it as faulty.

The loading times thing is true, i was plying RFOM, and the loading bar appears for like a total of a second, then does to the next stage or menu.

I think the 360 is better.

the reason is that one the pro version of the 360 comes with a wireless controller and you cand buy a cord to plug into the back of the controller so you can charge and play. second you can connect to a computer with windows xp mce. 3 chatting. 4 xbox live. it may not be free for the gold but the online gameplay is awsome. the 360 also has 1080i hd support. and yeahyeah the ps3 has blueray but that jaks prices up. you can buy an hddvd external drive for the 360. i have also expierienced many sony products crashing or dying. hardware the ps3 may be superior IF its games are coded right but the 360 can multitask with its three cores in the cpu.

the ps3 can multithread also, with 7 co-cpu's.
ps3 has 1080P support, P means progressive whole frames. I means interlaced, that means only half the frames are renderd in the framerate. 30fps is actually 15fps then. becouse of that, 1080i looks a lot like 720p. ps3 has an harddisk, with the harddisk they can cache the game, becouse the x360 has a model without, most developers cant use it too much becouse the game cant depend on hd. dvd's also dont have as much storage for games, blue ray does so on blue ray you can sore much more, hd-dvd has that too but becouse it is an expansion games cant depend on it either.
