Downloading Fonts =S

Hi people!
Im having a little trouble on downloading my fonts.
I use the site www.Dafont.com as many also do.
But now I've bought a new laptop and i use this for photoshop now.
The laptop is great exept when i download a font from dafont .... i open the downloaded file to drag and drop into the fonts file... when i see that my computer does not recognize the type of file it is.

How can i fix this ?
What is going Wrong ?

please respond fast as i cant wait to make some good sigs with soem good text.

Well, sometimes I got the same problem as you.
1, restart your computer
2, extract the files again.

i never had this problem sorry can't help but maybe those font programs can help you :D xfonter etc.

Try finding a program that can open the type of file.

do you double click on your font to open it or find it thru photoshop ?

never had that problem b4...but then again i never drag and drop my fonts.... what i do is install the font onto my comp

to do that you goto START>CONTROL PANEL>FONT then browse for where ur fonts are located and install em

I do it same way as you and have never had that priblem before
