Getting Started With Photoshop

Well up to now i have only used Fireworks (dont laugh!) and have seen all these cool tutorials showing things that i would need to do to make cool stuff. So could some tell me simply what photoshop programs/stuff i will need to get, like the exact names, and please not shortened XD

you need Adobe Photoshop CS2
