Auto Shutdown in Windows Xp

Recently I searched for a method to shut down my PC after a certain amount of time. There are so many programs that can do it, but many of them are shareware. Anyways, I found out that there is a way to do it in windows.
Right click on Desktop, and select Create New shortcut
Paste this %windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 0 in the adress textfield*
Give this shortcut a name, for example Shutdown and click OK
*0 is the number of seconds to wait before shutting down, so if you want to shut it down in 2 hours (3600*2=7200) put 7200

1 minute = 60
10 minuts = 600
30 minuts = 1800
1 hour = 3600
2 hours = 7200

To activate the process just double click the shortcut and leave the PC on.

my laptops got this inbuilt. i can tell it a time to turn on, go to sleep or turn off.

MY laptop is gay.
i used to close it and it went into hibernation.
but now every 4 hours or so it sometimes hibernates anyway

right click on desktop > properties > screensaver > power > Turn off hard disks or turn off stuff evrything is there...no need to do this shiznit xD

roflol, something fun to do to noobs is to put the program in the start>programs>startup, set the amount of time for about 10 seconds, and you can make a message show up. I got my brother with it, confused the shit out of him
