learning from psds???

hello guys`ve got a question.. maybe I?m too stupid but hm ( I downloaded about 500 psd files) and how I can see exactly what has happened there?? Only by knowing? - means I`m Pro in PS and I know what has happened in every layer .. or is there a hint (in PS) to see what has happened??? in same cases i`m not sure .... and I want to know exactly...

well, try to hide all the layers of the PSD and then unhide one per one starting from the first one. This is the way I am writing the tuts. You can see what happens there. Maybe try to do smth similar using your knowledge. But I use PSDs generally to see the technique they use :P

yes i`m trying this way ( is the only possible way - i think) - I try to rebuild the sig with my knowledge - and the psd - but with some layers i?m not sure... but ok if there is no technic or function in PS to show what is happen I will try my very best this way..

for example i want to have effect from layer above on my layer... but I have no idea which filter it is... (IF it is a filter)

I?d say the sig-maker made a new layer made Image---> Apply Image (Bild---> Bildberechnungen) then put that layer to Overlay (?berlagern) and played a bit with the Curves ?(dunno the english word) (Tonwertkorrektur)

can you say which layers are active on the other one the one of them is clear to see but the other not :S

at mine (the pic below) are the same layers active as at his.... but I have it a bit more lighten (dont know because of what) I think he used this "Filter" before too .. because of this mine is looking bit diffrent from his...

Did you set the upper 3rd render layer to Lighten(aufhellen) and the other reduced the opacity to 25% ? and the 4th render layer to an opacity of 50%?
Otherwise i think it?s brighter because of the Tonwertkorrektur on the Layer 1 (STRG+L) if it isn?t i realy dunno =(

Yes i did.... I made all like him (what I could see) - hm - this more lighten is not the problem but the effect at this layer now is more than darken.... its a bit blurry too.... grmls.. I hate this... too much time lost for nothing.... hmpf... I will go on without this effect and see what result I will have

edit the "tonwertkorrektur" and blur effect is nearly the right way .. HAA happy me... I will play a bit with the settings - big thanx for the moment :-)

?? I dont use the layers from his PSD I try to rebuild with mine layers ... lol because of this I have the problem and ask what he DID.... if I would take his layers I wouldn`t have asked... :-P

no I haven`t I grabbed it due to rapidshare .... I will make a tut but with my sig .... ( I changed a lot now and hm it will be something diffrent but I can make tut then lol)
