ok, Nintendo may be trying to be less childish, but till they finish their trying, i'm not liking them as i did earlyer
they may have started the industry, and they may have revolutionary ideas
they did bad with gameboy micro and gameboy advance sp
with their WII their in the right diretion tho
let's hope they dont make things like last 2 gameboy's anymore
(btw: indeed the platform PSP may be better, i agree it's games are waay badder than DS's games)

All the greatest video games come from Nintendo :
Mario, Zelda, Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong... All those games are classics. Nintendo may be childest, but like you said, they're changing with Wii, getting into a new world of video gaming with their new gameplay. Microsoft or Sony never will be better than Nintendo...

Nintendo has that "close to home" feeling for me. I got my NES when I was 11 or 12. My fondest memories are playing Mario Bros and Zelda. I subscribed to Nintedo Power for a few years after that. Sounds lame, but at that age, it was the best thing since sliced bread. For me, Nintendo owns Micorsoft and Sony. Even though I didn't like the Gamecube. It's like having a favorite team (for all you sports fans). I'm not a fly-by-night, fair weather fan of Nintendo. I may not like every move they make, but I'm still a die-hard fan and supporter. I even miss Howard :P

Nintendo for most people now a days is like the fat girlfriend, you don't want your friends to know your doing her, or in this case, playing Nintendo. But truth be told, they fundamentally fueled all the games and game creation we got now, they still spark innovating and amazing ideas into game developers, sure they might not be aimed for the more mature audience but that doesn't mean their games are not entertaining. Hell I found myself playing Raving Rabbids with old buddies and busting out laughing and some of the funny shit.
You won't see Nintendo dying for a very long time, and you know why? Because they definitely know what their doing. Many breakthrough titles have made they're way back to Nintendo, you can only expect to see new, brilliant idea's blasting off in so many directions with the Wii, expect more game developers to take advantage of that, ultimately throwing console development to be more like Nintendo.
Nintendo is definitely still trail blazing in the gaming world.
