hey guys
this is kind of like a classing thread but not for the purpose of classing im not trying to start anything up with this

well i dont seem to be getting better at all at gfx, i have been classed at a few sits , recently , each were novice , i know some of my work might be novice and im not denying that just wanted someone elses opinion i am thinking of quiting gfx if i dont get better, since i am not improving and no one seems to like my work.

again this isnt a classing thread just wanted some opinion if i rlly am novice still or what ,
i may post some work , just dont want this to be a classing thread, so im gonna keep it simple and my sig is up if u want to look at my work heres my PB also

u've improved alot lately imo :/ i'd give u low mod

some of your work is mod
some is novice

but don't quit, you always have original concept etc, there's SO much potential if you keep on going for a while

i most of ur work is different , that a good thing, i know ppl who get inter by using splatter brushes with lighting and clipping, ( th most whored style ever) and i think they should be noivice or mod beacuse of originalty, the way u are going u will improve lots and get the ranks u want, u just need to perfect ur skills, give it 2 or 3 weks :)

i think that you're improving. Everyone experiences that phase when you think ur not improving etc.,i wanted to quit sometimes, but i didnt. Dont worry i know how u feel. So my advice is,dont quit. Never :)

Work out what your best at and keep on working on it and whenever something is bad about your work...go back and work on it.

You know what you need to do. You need to doodle on some piece of paper more or draw anything you feel like. It opens up your mind. So you can think even further outside da box.

All you have to do is find your style, master it, mix it up a bit and you'll get better.

high novice

you seem to be stuck at like 20% flow, meaning your compo needs a bit of work

no point quitting, but stop trying to imitate styles, and when trying to be orignal, make sure you choose techniques which work well together.
for example, your current, it seems to be vector, but also cloud smudge. the latter is working, but the vector just seems obscure.

i like some aspects of your work, but you need to THINK more when making stuff. go for more of a hard creative thinking pattern (get an idea, then make it) instead of soft creative (just messing around till you get something you like).

follow tutorials and apply the techniques in your own way to your work.

well thanks for the input , im gonna give it 30days , and if i still dont improve next time i class :/ well idk i might quit

also to faust, i dont try to imitate styles, if they look like others styles i cant change that but i thought of all the ideas on my own ,

isn't it stupid to let your future in gfx depend on some people's OPPINIONS?

it's about your oppinion!
