Yoho
In this Tutorial i am going to teach you how to make such a flame:
In this Tutorial youll need:
1 Triangle Brush: Download (http://black-fx.mythicx.com/Tutorials/Sonstiges/Flames/Trianglebrushbydiversion.abr)
3 C4D Render: Download (http://black-fx.mythicx.com/Tutorials/Sonstiges/Flames/c4ds.rar)
All Smudgings were made with that Triangle Brush ! (I don´t want to repeat saying this in each step so i am saying it here!!!)
So lets start =].

STEP 1
Start of with making a new document and fill the background with a dark color.
Now grab your Soft Brush and brush with different Colours (some parts darker and some brighter).
But in the middle it has to be a little bit white.

STEP 2
Next Step is to smudge it into the angle you want to have your flame going

STEP 3

Now create a new Layer and grab up your Soft Brush again. Brush with arround 25px one time in a bright color, then brush again with arround 15px in the middle , USE another Colour!

STEP 4

Again smudge it into the direction/angle you want to have it:

STEP 5

Brush with white one time trough the middle.

And lower the opacity of this layer to ~40%

Step 6

Make 2 white Points on each side of your Flame near the border

And smudge these Points - Set this Layer to Overlay.

Step 7
Now grab up your Pen Tool and make some Shapes to get the Flame Sharper to the End of it

Step 8
Create a new Folder. Paste all your layers into this Folder and duplicate it. (You can duplicate it with draging and dropping it onto the New Layer Symbol). Set the whole folder on Overlay.

Step 9
Grab up your c4ds or the ones i gave you for downloading.
