Assistance with a removal

Im new here and it seems difficult to get overall feedback in the slew of other posts, so Ill post specific issues im having with this piece here.

Ugh, that blue ugliness over on the right, what is the best method of getting rid of that? Ive tried several things, but none that had the least amount of impact on the sig, and ive buried it way too far down for layer editing >.<

What would be a good contrasting color to introduce here?

main things i see wrong are the foca l is covers , its monotone and the text is to sperated

If you saved the Pic to PSD it would be an easy edit but if you didnt i see no way you can edit any thing out
