when you add the lens flare, set that layer to Lighten. I accidently left that out.
Also, the black>White gradient map. Set that to Soft Light and 40 along with the layer you make after it.

Hmm..i'll giv it a try,gimme some time....i'll produce a outcome again....but...thats after my sleep and after my classes...its almost 2am here...lol

a rather simple yet interesting tut btw , thank you for posting it :D

I like the tut, and the outcome is pretty sweet. I think the c4ds are a bit too visible or am I wrong?

hmmm, I think if you blur them a bit the will look sweet :D

Because tutorials are for learning and not for coping, everything is up to you :D

Haha dude thats an awesome tut! Yeah I agree with the others as well.. But noticably C4Ds bring out the bg. And the effect! Its cool.. Might not try this one though x.x Still a kick ass tut.

A C4D being noticeable isnt a bad thing at all SaI.

And this tutorial is for any style/theme so really what you claimed was a false logic.

Ok...here it is....its not 100% following the tut...added a lil effects, and i'm using Photoshopv7.0...i guess i need to update my PS or get CS2....anyway heres an outcome of some sort following the tut

got to be honest, im not liking the outcome, seems very 'beginner'

this tut is more intermediate than advanced mate

the outcome looks a bit to "candy coated" if you know what i mean. it just looks really .... clich? sorry

not my style, but thanks for the tut
