just a experiment, instead of using a stock, tried making a sig out of a image...what do u call those anyway? i'll post a pic of the original image.

what u used is called a stock
what u normally use is called a render, just to let you know

Add depth with lighting like shadows and a good bg something for the render to blend into so it looks almost like its popping out at you

.version got it all covered - it's a little boring, needs details - depth, light, and stuff like that.

to add shadows and lights you can use burn/dodge tools, i use them ;)
brushing is good though, but not grunge brushing, you know :P
