Hey guys well I was playing with deformation and stuff in C4D and I got the following result

My first render in C4D

its a little to choppy c4d imo is best smooth

ummm lemme see... C4D is made on Cinema 4D ;)

ya I know....kinda easy to guess :D

nice c4d and yeah application to make these is called cinema 4D it´s shareware but you can get a 30 days trial version on http://www.maxon.net/
